Membership Eligibility by Type 

Full membership: for those working in academic settings and/or directly involved with patient care. Applications for new Full membership must include the name and contact information of a current Full member who has agreed to sponsor you (recommend you for membership). Please contact ISA staff if you need assistance.

Emeritus membership: for retired professionals who have been ISA members 5+ years (verification of retirement status required)

Student membership: for students or those in training, including PhD students, medical or nursing students, and postdoctoral fellows (verification of student status required)

Affiliate membership: for employees of companies with commercial interests, including pharmaceutical and medical device companies

Patient/Care Partner membership: for amyloidosis patients, care partners and leaders of support and advocacy organizations
